Raw Green Mango,Amla and Peanut Dip!

Ingredients:

2 cups of grated raw green mango

4-5 raw Amla fruits( around 1/4th cup)

10-15 mild green chilli

1/4 cup raw peanuts ( soak in water for at least 4-5 hours)

3-4 garlic pieces

Salt to taste

Spices ( cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad dal and few fry red chili) for thadkha.

1/4th cup of curry leaves for garnish and tempering/ thadakha

Instructions:

*Soak raw peanuts in a water for 4-5 hours

*peel the raw mangoes and grate them in food processor.

*wash green chili and keep them ready.

*thaw frozen Amla fruit for 29-25 minutes

*In a blender or food processor add,soaked raw peanuts+ grated mango+1 teaspoon of cumin seeds+green chili + Amla pieces and blend into a coarse mixture. This can be eaten like this as a dip or chutney, we also do a dry thadakha ( dry roast urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chili and curry leaves)

Tastes great to dip veggies like broccoli, celery, carrots etc.

It tastes great to eat with brown rice, quinoa or as chutney with idli and Dosa.

We can use soaked almonds too in place of peanuts.

To reduce calorie Density of this dip we can use half soaked nuts and half soaked split chick peas.
