Tofu Scramble with turmeric and flaxseed powder(oil free)

Tofu Scramble served in a plant powered bowl.

Ingredients:

1.1 block of organic firm tofu.

2.1teaspoon of turmeric powder.

3.1/4th teaspoon of black pepper.

4.1-2 table spoons of flax seed powder.

5.1/2 of a medium onion thinly diced.

6.1/4th cup of plant milk or water

7.red chilli powder according to taste.

8.Pinch of black salt to taste( kaala namak available in most Indian stores, tastes the best in this dish)

Instructions:

1.Drain the water from Tofu and keep it ready.

2.Heat a thick bottom pan and add onions, let them cook for 2-3 minutes,now add turmeric,black pepper, red chilli powder and mix everything well.

3.Now crumble the tofu with hands into the pan, and mix everything well, Now add flax seed powder and sautee for 1-2 minutes.

4.If it feels like drying out, add any unsweetened plant milk or water and cook for 3-4 minutes .Add a pinch of black salt just before serving

5.Serve it hot with either a whole grain toast, or in Tacos, burritos or Burrito bowls.
