Mirchi Bhajji (Air fried stuffed chillis)

Mirchi Bhajji is a scrumptious Indian street food is also known as Mirchi vada. Here is healthy oil free version of it.
Green chilles are excellent source of vitamin C and also consumption of spicy food had shown to increase energy consumption. Brown fat is increased too by consumption of hot peppers, there by increasing whole body calorie expenditure.  These Bhaji do not contain any cheese butter or oil . They contain all the nutrition from fresh green pepper, chickpeas flour, veggies and herbs, and spices. 

Ingredients :

Long green chillis ( try to get the ones that are not too spicy)

 For coating the green chillis Make a thick batter using , 1 cup chickpea flour 1 tablespoon rice flour1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste1 teaspoon coriander seed powder 1 teaspoon red chili powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 /2 teaspoon salt . 1 teaspoon baking soda,Using water make a thick paste of all the above ingredients and keep it aside.

For stuffing:

1 tablespoon sesame seeds-2 teaspoons ajwain seeds(carom seeds)1 cup chopped cilantro,1/2 cup chopped onion ,Juice of 1 lemon,1tsp flax seed powder, 1/4th teaspoon salt . 
Blend the above ingredients into fine paste.
Procedure:

Wear gloves and carefully remove the seeds and ribs from the green chillis. Now stuff the green chillis with the above paste  and keep them aside.
Line airfryer Basket with parchment paper.
Now hold each green chilli and carefully apply the batter on all the sides .
Lay the green chili’s in the basket and airfry them at 375F for 6-8 minutes, no need to turn them . In less than 10 minutes they will be ready . 
Let them cool for 3-4 minutes before removing them on a plate . 
We can cut the bajji put some onions , and lemon juice and chat masala and some micro greens and enjoy .
