Oats are a great source of soluble fibre, which lowers elevated blood cholesterol. The beta-glucan found in oats is effective at lowering both “bad” LDL and total cholesterol, which may help keep your heart

4 ingredient oats waffles

1. 1Cup Rolled oats ( don’t use quick cooking variety)

2. 1 ripe banana

3. 1 Tablespoon of flax seed powder

4. 2 tablespoons of unsweetened apple sauce,Some vanilla extract,1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and some water for blending.

5. Bananas and berries to garnish on the top, if we thaw frozen berries and add on hot waffles it tastes like syrup.

In a food processor first blend banana, and add oats , water apple sauce, baking powder and vanilla extract and blend to a consistency of waffle mix.

Pour a ladle full of this mix on heated waffle maker and let it cook, make sure to check and don’t let it burn.

Serve with some bananas and thawed frozen berries on the top.
