Chegodilu- spicy&Crispy rounds with Shorgum flour

Indian crunchy shorgum flour snacks ( chegodilu)

Ingredients:

1. 1 cup water

2. 1 Tsp chilli powder

3. 1 Tsp sesame seed

4. 1/2 Tsp Ajwain

5. Salt (according to taste)

6. 1/2 Tsp turmeric, some black pepper

7. 1 cup brown rice flour / jowar flour

8. 1 Tbs flaxseed powder

Instructions:

Put water to boil in a pan, and slowly add all the above ingredients except rice flour/ jowar flour.

Once water comes to boil add 1 cup of flour and cook for a minute and off the stove and put a lid on it.

Mean while Preheat airfryer

Now wet your hands and mix the dough to form a ball .

Make small balls and roll them into small logs and round them to form rings

Place these rings in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes at 350F , make sure to check after 6 minutes and cook until they are crunchy.

We can bake these in the oven too but takes 25-30 minutes! The ones made in the oven tasted even better!

Small tip while making these is to cover the dough with wet paper towel or wet cloth so that it won’t become dry! Wet hands when making these, so that dough rolls easily in between hands and won’t dry off!
