Chatpata Cauliflower & Potato Waffles

Delicious low calorie dense grain free savory waffles

Ingredients

• 3 cups riced cauliflower ( used frozen)

• 4-5 cups grated potatoes ( used frozen)

• 1 cup thinly diced onion

• 2 cups of thinly chopped mint and cilantro together

• Few green chili thinly diced ( according to taste

• Chat masala ( 1-2 teaspoons)

• 2 tablespoons flax seed powder

• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

• 1 teaspoon red chili powder ( according to taste)

• Salt ( according to taste)

Instructions:

• Microwave frozen potatoes and frozen riced cauliflower for 5 minutes

• Thinly diced red onions, cilantro, mint and green chili’s

• Now add all the ingredients in the microwaved potatoes and cauliflower and mix with hand to form like a dough.( make sure it is cooled off before putting your hand)

• Heat the waffle maker according to instructions and take a big lemon size ball of the mixture and place on waffle maker

• Spread with a flat spoon and cook in the waffle maker 3-4 minutes

• If it is a non stick waffle maker, it won’t stick after 3-4 minutes of cooking.

• Carefully remove waffles and serve with sugar free tomato sauce or any of your favorite oil free vegan sauce.

• If you want waffles to be crispy, you can air fry the cooked waffles for 3-4 minutes.
